I'm surprised you had any side effects at all from Lexapro at 5 mg. Are you sure it wasn't withdrawal from Remeron? In any case, they will almost certainly go away. For me, it doesnt matter what time I take it, but if the side effect is drowsiness, take it at night, and vice versa.
> This is my first post here. I have been on Remeron (45 mg) for 3 years. My doc wants me to try Lexapro. My main problem is extreme anxiety. I tried the Lexapro (5 mg.) a few weeks ago but quit after 3 days because of side effects. I want to give it another try at 2.5 mg. because of reading that the side effects may go away after 4-5 days. My question is, what is the best time of the day to take it. Would appreciate any input.
