And I remember someone who used to post here who was also diabetic and really depended on Effexor. (She once said her glucose control really went out of whack when her HMO made her switch to another AD). I wonder if, for some reason, diabetics have a particularly good reaction to Effexor? In one sense it might seem as if Effexor would NOT be a good choice, since most Type II diabetics are hypertensive, and Effexor can sometimes raise blood pressure.
