Yeah, generally they expire after a year. Sonata expires sooner; the expiration date on the bottle is usually about 9 months!

My husband thinks it's all a conspiracy to make drug companies richer!

I think (Cam, you there? Help out!) meds usually become ineffective, rather than dangerous. That is, they become impotent. (Hmmm. That's another whole discussion.)
