Before A/P's there was virtually no drug induced tardive eps (any effect lingering > 1 month including simple non a/p drug sensitivity).

If you never had eps prior to an a/p - but did after - almost for sure the a/p caused your eps and continuing problems with med sensitivity. For example normally people will not react to SSRI or MAOI's with dystonia - unless they have sustained a brain lesion from an a/p previously.

Polypharmacy with an a/p can change the risks involved - usually increasing risks...

Continued use of A/p's can make the problem worse and/or more chronic.
