Dear Pattisun,
It will not be a good idea to get off all medicines, because the complexity of your problems guarantee a long term therapy. What is important here is to chose the best med for the purpose. Celexa can be helpful to cope with the agonizing withdrawal of paxil, but I don't think it is an ideal drug. I must advise you to stay off it soon after you achieve your objective. Celexa is having a lower incidence of sexual dysfunction, but still that lower incidence should be considered. I have seen some guys who never got back their desire phase of sexuality after the long term use of SSRIs. So do I. I don't think there is ever a chance of getting my desire phase back because I am still on prozac, unable to withdraw because of a psychological dependence. I tried a five month off prozac period but still desire phase remained the same. So be careful of SSRIs. It is better to stay off them if they adversely affect your sexuality. Most of those adverse effects may be very long lasting.
