Remeron Question for Shawn. T.

Shawn,

You certianly seem to be very knowledgeable about the mechanisms of action of psycotropic medications and Remeron in particular.

Of course the $100,000 question is:

Why does it cause weight gain?

I am aware of the antihistamine idea, and I think there is some correlation there. But there are potent classical antihisamines that do not cause weight gain.

Any ideas?
