I can completely empathize with you - it took me a little over six months to get off of Effexor, and that entire time was pure hell. Now, from my position of healthy distance from the drug, I can laugh and ask "what else should I have expected from the makers of Norplant and Phen-phen?" ;)

Hang in there, you're not alone. I've talked to numerous folks who have had difficulty getting off Effexor. (And numerous more who have been able to quit without incident.)
