Hi there,
I suffer from Migraines and took Welbutrin for years. It did not cause any siezure like activity whatsoever. I don't think there are any bad interactions...but don't quote me.
I would definitely talk to your Neurologist, or get one if you don't have one. Also - I wouldn't split the SR pill in half. It definitely affects the SR aspect. Seems to me it would be just like taking a regular one at half the dosage...
