After a couple of months on the combination I started having some very strange physical side effects (muscle and joint pain, breakthrough bleeding between periods, sudden extreme weight gain) which I a attributed to the drug combination. My doc took me off the prozac and I stayed on the wellbutrin alone. After the prozac had time to wear off, I started noticing at work that I was more focused. I started doing some research and found out that I fit the diagnostic criteria for ADD. My doc added dexedrine SR to the wellbutrin and I'm currently doing very well on the combination. If I were you, I would certainly talk to your doctor about wellbutrin since it does have some stimulant affect and is often used to treat people with ADD. You could also try something other than ritalin, like dexedrine or adderall, these are completely different drugs and you might do very well on them. Thanks for the information -- I see my Pdoc on Friday.
