I had severe headaches when I started Lamictal, felt as if someone had kicked me in the back of the head with a boot, lol! My pdoc said that it's pretty common to have headaches in the beginning. You might want to mention it to your doctor though, I am not sure if they are supposed to last quite as long as a month.
