Hello,
First off, irritability can come from a number of sources. Depression, anxiety, ADHD, PMS, imbalance of hormones, etc... I would reccommend this to you, if you want to go the herbal and vitamin route. That is a good idea actually, because I have found that a few vitamins help my problems almost as much as prescript. medication! Try this. First, go out and get yourself a multivitamin/multimineral supplement from a healthfood store like GNC. Do not get a Wal-Mart brand or anything from a department store. Quality is not nearly as effecient. For about a week, you will feel more annoyed, just until your system adjusts. But, I would also advise you to try GABA. Look for the amino acid powder, or capsules. This has a sedating effect, but only in higher amounts than reccommended. Don't take more than it tells you on the bottle or jar. You could also pick up some L-Tyrosine too, which is great for CNS depression and anxiety. Also good for attention problems. But, add these in a series. First, the multivitamin and the GABA. Then, about 2 weeks later, go and get the L-Tyrosine. This should bring you good results. Good luck. Hope you take my advice.
Frankie.
