I think what you are describing as happening when you stand up might be something called "postural hypotension" or "orthostatic hypotension". A lot of psychiatric drugs cause this. I forget the physiology behind it, but it is weird because effexor gave me increased blood pressure, but postural low blood pressure. I've got it now on Prozac. For me, its worst if I stand up and then stretch (which is a natural thing to do if you've been sitting too long). I've actually fallen before from this. My experience is that it gets better the longer I've been on the medication.

I don't know what to say about the headaches. Does it feel like a vascular headache or a tension headache (not always easy to differentiate, I guess)? Does it throb? Worse when you bend over?
