Is Serzone and Xanax really dangerous?

My husband is thinking of leaving me and my whole dysfunctional family is coming to my house for Christmas. I'm getting more and more upset and Xanax isn't helping a great deal. Is it really dangerous to take Serzone with Xanax? I want to calm down, but I don't want to put myself in a coma or anything.
I'd appreciate any advice.
