When I was on Serzone, I usually took the whole daily dose an hour or so before bedtime. Not what the package insert says to do, but it worked for me. It's actually absorbed better in a single large dose, and most of the Serzone clears out of your system in 8-12 hrs.
The daytime drowsiness *eventually* went away somewhat - took months - but Serzone eventually stopped working for me as an antidepressant too (we're talking 6-7 years here).
I took Serzone primarily because I had sleep problems + depression - if you don't suffer from insomnia, it may not be the right AD for you at all.
