What has been posted here makes absolute sense to me, but I've had a different experience. When I've taken Ambien with Depakote at night because I'm waking up every hour or so now, I sleep very well - well into the next day.
I don't know what the best method is -- it sounds like the Ambien really shouldn't be the culprit. But my pdoc said the Depakote sedation *should* get better. But do they say that about every sedating drug?
