> I have just begun taking Effexor XR for depression. I have taken 37mg. for 10 days, and I am soaked in sweat! This is terrible! Has anyone else experienced this? Does it get better? or go away? I think I may be beginning to feel better, but this wetness is bunk!

I've been on Effexor for a couple of years, and I still have sweating, although it's not quite as bad. I usually have to "blow dry" my hairline with the dryer on cool so I can finish getting ready for work without drips. I didn't even equate the sweating with effexor - I thought it was because I'd gained weight. But come to think of it, I'm losing weight and still sweaty.

Sweating is better than feeling like S**t mentally though, right?
