Cognitive changes after discontinuing effexor?

Has anyone experienced cognitive changes immediately after discontinuing effexor, namely difficulties with concentration, attention, vigilence, and memory? Are these difficulties simply a phase or part of the discontinuation process, or must I rely on Effexor for years to come in order to maintain functional thinking skills?
