I take Effexor XR 600 mg at bedtime. I have no side-effects except sexual dysfunction. The advantage of taking such a high dose is that the drug starts to work on serotonin, norepinephrine, AND dopamine.
Blood pressure problems may occur, but that is easily remedied with calcium blockers or beta blockers.
