I started at 75mgs (37.5 am, 37.5 pm) and eventually worked my way up to 300mgs. I've heard of people taking as high as 400. The saving grace is that for a lot of people the "activating effect" usually wears off to some degree after the start up period and hopefully she'll be left with a med that will help the depression.

She can only sleep w/just taking the morning dose. So she is only taking the one dose for now. I thought maybe she would be able to tolerate the second dose once the medication gets in her in system for a few weeks. I know I have encountered sleep problems at the beginning of trying a new medication. Does anyone have any suggestions? She also wants to make sure there is no weight gain w/this medication I told her what I have read it did'nt look like it.
