Hi, I agree with JohnL that you should probably start Zyprexa with a smaller dose. It really can be sedating for a break-in period. Mine lasted a couple of weeks. This may be why you feel like you can't get out of bed. I have worked my way up to 7.5mg and Zyprexa has helped me a lot. It really cleared up a lot of my suicidal thinking and helped me to focus some more. I always take mine in the evening so that I get some good sleep but don't feel groggy in the morning.

Try to wait it out a little longer before giving up.

Also, as John said look into Adderall or Ritalin if you give up on Zyprexa. I've been searching for a decent stimulant for a year and hope that I may have found some help with Mirapex.

Good Luck,
Chris

> Hi - I currently take 300 mgs of Effexor XR a day. My Dr added 5 mg of Zyprexa once a day to help the Effexor XR. Lately, I seem to be spiraling downward into a deeper and deeper depression. I'm finding it hard to even get out of bed.
