Just got Effexor XR

I saw my GP yesterday and he took me off of Paxil and he put me
on Effexor XR. The reason I was taken off of the Paxil was the
Acid reflunx was horrible. I was wondering if anyone else out
there has switched from Paxil to Effexor XR and like it better?

I am suffering from Panic Attacks, and he thinks that Effexor
XR should help with these....I hope there are others that has
taken Effexor XR for PD and it has worked.

Now what about the bp increase? Is it that dramatic? I have
a severe family hx of cardiac problems, and do not want
to add to those with taking this medication

Any Advice????????
