I took 4 100 mg tablets of WB a day for over 6 years. At first it caused nausa at night but that was the only definite side effect and it stoped after about 4 months. Over time I came to be suspicious of a few possible side effects. Specifically my blood presure became unstable and I began have intense (I'm female) stomach cramps each month. It did not completely relieve my depression and it definitely did not help with occaisional stress related anxiety attacks.
Several of the things that were causing me stress ended this year and I spent 4 months comming off of it because it didn't completely do the job. I was afraid to try that before as it DID make me functional at a time when I was starting to be afraid I would have to quit work. If you ever come off of it - do it slowly just as you need to slowly increase the dosage to the prerscribed amount.
Don't know what else I can tell you - it did not help me with my weight and it did not stop my depression, but I had been getting very 'tired' and going to bed for 2 -3 days every 6 months before I started taking it and that stopped with the meds.
