Reboxetine (Vestra, Edronax), the first selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) or classified as "NARI" (noradrenergic reuptake inhibitor) by European psychiatrists, will soon be available for prescription in the U.S. as a treatment for depression. Reboxetine is approved for use as an antidepressant in much of Western Europe and in parts of South America.
