Xanax and Pre Employment Drug Screening

I am facing a pre-employment drug screening in the next week. I am also taking Xanax (generic equivalent), does anyone any experience with patients that have faced the same situation?

With a letter from the physician that it is medically necessary, will that negate or help the positive for benzodiazipines.

This is a situation that causes me great concern, as I am unemployed.
