Phil - God, you guys are taking me back with all these old LSD names. The side effect of itching (esp without a rash) may not be an allergic reaction, but just a weird side effect. I have heard of people itching while on Effexor before. The newer meds, like Effexor, are mostly made using "hypoallergenic" fillers, binders and colors. The itching side effect has made a few people stop the Effexor.

Elavil is a great AD, except for the dry mouth and drowsiness at effective doses. Sorry, all I can do is shrug my shoulders at that.
