Tom,
Nothing ever made my depression worse than nortriptyline. And you are absolutely right to dump your psychiatrist and find someone else. If he were a shoe salesman he'd be out of business in about 30 seconds. Why accept a condescending attitude from a "professional" who is too lazy and conceited to check the PDR before dismissing your side effects as another minor irritation in his day? If we don't stand up as consumers and kick a little butt, then guys like that will continue to get away with bad behavior.
