OK, I Must insert a Target story here to illustrate:
Once, while trying on clothes at Target, I was trying on several sizes of the same skirt to see which fit. I discovered that the smaller size was actually larger than the larger size. I figured out (by comparison) which one had the wrong label and then brought it to the Target "team member" and told her about the mislabeled size. To my astonishment, she took out a permanent marker and wrote something all over the fabric of the skirt!!! I actually yelled out, "what are you doing???!!!". She told me that this is what they do with all damaged clothes. I told her the skirt was not damaged, it was fine, it's just the label that was incorrect. She insisted that they were supposed to write on the item. I said, "why not just write on the label?" but she insisted she was following directions.
Alli must be right. : )
