Wow Rachie...

Merry Christmas to you too.

I have to admit that I'm a little confused, but I think you still have your car? Just out of curiousity, what kind is it? If this deal falls thru, I have a car you can have, but you have to come to California to get it...I'll get to meet you somehow :)

This is just MHO, but it sounds like time for Dad to start looking for another job if he hasn't already. I've had some run-ins with my bosses before, but never had one threaten to shoot me. Did he take any legal action? That guy has no business being anybody's boss. I really wish you were able to talk about this other stuff that's going on, I'm sure it would help to get it out. But you know what's best. We're all pulling for you.

Something is going to come thru for you on the job front Rach, I know it will. I hate to talk like an old fart, but I really hate to see someone so young like you dealing with so much stress. Do you have anything along the lines of a placement agency where you live? You pay them a small fee (which can usually be billed to you after you start working) and they place you in a job of your choosing (of course you have some qualifications). The interviewing process is usually pretty low-key as the companies are already contracted with the agency. It might be a lot less stressful way for you to get your foot in the door somewhere. I don't know how it is there, but the interview process here has become absolutely brutal! Sometimes you'll see as many as 15-20 people, spread out over 3 or 4 different visits. Then there's intensive background checks, references, they even do credit checks here now....

Anyway, I'm sorry that you're in so much worry hun. Wish I could help. I hope things get better real soon.

Makes one think that maybe Gilligan didn't have so bad on that island after all, eh? :)

Love ya,
Greg
