Now I'm on 150 Zoloft, 1200 Neurontin and a bit of buspar. It seems to be working although I know it could stop at any time. This luvox thing is intereting though. Try the z and n combo, although they are both very expensive. Any other sociophobes out there that have found any good meds or combos? Oh by the way, I also augment my meds with budweisers every day even though I know it might be weakening the effects of the meds. good luck all

I want know about Neurontin though. Does it help for social phobes? atypical depressives? I have heard that gabapentin is sometimes used with some sucess for social phobia. That's not the same thing is it?

Gabepentin, Neurontin are the same. However I have no experience with this drug. Nardil and Parnate are mentioned for social phobia. The dietary restrictions seem almost impossible to live with. I would actually be afraid to try Nardil (or any MAOI) except the RIMA's which are not available in the U.S.
