Re: Provigil for fatigue/depression?

I have always had problems with the SSRIs causing fatigue. Apparently Provigil works by a completely different mechanism from the amphetamines or ritalin and does not cause tolerance (which has been a real problem for me). Does it cause stimulation at all? The amphetamines definitely have an anti-depressant effect: are there any such effects with Provigil? Thanks for any info!

I am also very curious about this very thing, and I'm sort of surprised that there is so little published about this drug. (It has been marketed but is not listed in any 1999 PDR-type books I've seen.)

I don't have an answer to your question but would like to hear what you find out.
