Unfortunately it takes 2-4 weeks to get an effect from an anti-depressant. So don't be discouraged that you are seeing no effect. I would think that his therapist would want to wait 6-8 weeks before considering a medication change. But the waiting is hard when someone is in such acute distress.

Two days into it and no significant improvement in depression. Dark room, dark thoughts, etc. How patient should I be. Klonopin 1 mg/day prescribed for anxiety issue. HELP!
