Problem is doctor and lack of options

Unfortunately, I dont' have any options about doctors. I'm stuck with this one, and we don't click at all. I don't trust her, she doesn't listen to me. The punch line is that she says the drugs work, but I'm not responding appropriately. I should just get over it...
You're right about the side effects, but without the trust in the doctor, it's hard to accept the risk. Does that make sense? It sure makes this harder than it has to be.
