Posted by Happyflower on March 25, 2007, at 11:20:16

TaAAAAAAA DaAAAAAAAAA! See my emotional protective shield against life's social injustice?
I am strong, nothing will get me down unless I let it. I can even make a point without getting blocked! I have graduated from the Babble Civility School! LOL
Wow, my T is good, but he had good stuff to work with! LOL It is a wonderful world out their and I am going to catch a shinning star and glide all over this big world of ours helping people whereever I go so they can be strong too.
I think my T would be proud of me! Man is he good, and so darn cute too!

ya!
My T is gooooooood! Surviors are strong when they realize their special powers! Life is so amazing when you have your eyes wide open, ready to jump into this big world of ours with a special protective shield given out by our T's! Ya Baby!

I am like a jaw breaker with all the layers of self protection, self confidence, and drive . Remember the great big ones that you couldn't even get in your mouth? Thats me! I can be fragile if I am dropped, but maybe only lose a few layers, but those layers keep building me up to the largest jaw breaker you have ever seen, yup!

Hi Happyflower,

If you don't mind an emotionally dragging Poet, I'll join you. Though I'm not up to dancing, mind if I sit?

Congratulations on being that jawbreaker. Give yourself major credit for what you got out of therapy, you did all the hard work!

Sitting down while you dance around me, Poet

Mood swings?
You keep on dancing okay? I'll watch with pleasure.
At least someone is feeling positive about life and therapy.
Me on the other hand, who cares. I'm sick with a bad cold, thought I'd be lucky this year and not get one!
But I do love my T, at least I have one good thing going on for me!
Hugs

Hi Ladybug,

Sorry you are sick, colds are not fun. Is it a coughing fever thing? My kids both have had them going on 2 weeks.

No, not really mood swings, maybe spring fever, feeling a little bored with my life. I miss my gardening and I feel it is getting close, but not close enough due to our weather.

I guess my dance is about there comes a time in life, after going through so much crap , that I don't want to take it anymore from anyone. Some pretend to be friends, but yet they aren't happy when you are doing well because misery loves company, and I am not miserable anymore. But instead of wishing the best to me and being happy for me, they want to tear me down to their level. I guess I have had enough.

It is amazing how clear I see people now, I am learning who my real friends are. Everyone wants friends to support them, and luckey in real life I have some and even in Babbleland. Therapy had given me so much, I am so greatful. I hope to give to others what my T has given to me. So I am happy, really happy. But I will take a stand anyone who wants to ruin it, tear me down, I just won't let them. When I was a small child, I had no choice about it, now I do.

I am thinking of volunteering for some organzations to help others because I want others to have the chance to change their lives too. People we don't need to be slaves to our past, we can move forward with some help, and do great things.

I remember years ago when I was first married and was so happy, my husband was treating me so well, well nobody wanted to hear about how happy I was. It was like if I didn't bitch like the others about their spouses, then I didn't fit in. Well now I have good reason to complain, but I am not going to, but I am going to move forward in my plan for independence.

Someday I hope to meet someone who wants a happyflower, but for now I am just just going to work on myself getting stronger for me. Thanks why I am dancing, and I don't how, but I am anyways.

Thanks Poet,

You have always seem to support me for some reason, even when nobody else would in Babbleland. I am really touched at that. It is okay if you want to sit down, you can even laugh because I don't know how to dance, I am sure I look silly. But that is okay because if one can't laugh at themselves, they are much to serious anyways.
I hope you are feeling better soon.

Hugs,
Happyflower

I know what you mean by people wanting to tear you down when things are going well! They want to see the worst things happen then dwell on them.
I am so glad that you're happy! You DESERVE it!!! You've been through a lot and come sooooo far. You can celebrate by dancing and singing! Good for you. We all deserve good things to happen to us. And who appreciates it more than someone that's been in the depths of hell?
Happiness to Happyflower........

Hey thanks Ladybug,

The good thing is that I see it so clearly when when someone IS trying to tear me down for their own reasons, not so much because of me, and I am not going to take it personally especially if they really don't know me. This has happened to me before and I would take it to heart. But now I am just going to shug it off my shoulders and not give a darn because I know me and that is what counts. This is a huge cognitive achievement that my T has taught me over time. Maybe it is self confidence too.

This is a good case when someone who comes from an abused past, can read others fairly well when they note "danger". Maybe not real danger, but someone who isn't there for me. My instincts have always guided me and really hasn't been wrong yet, so I let my gut and brain tell me when someone is safe and when they aren't. My T says that this is a good thing that comes out of a bad past.
