the court of appeal will need to let me know, soon. what they are going to do.
are they going to pretend they don't have the capacity for LSAT 101 reasoning? is that the decision that the new zealand court of appeal is going to make?
or are they going to consider the appeal.
5 justices please. on the grounds that they incriminate themselves with the judgements they make. their judgements say more about them than their judgements say about me. that's been the situation thus far.
let them incriminate themselves if that's the route they want to go down.

the real thing with the courts is that they refuse to allow you to keep things simple.
they won't accept the filings.
there are little phrases. that get pulled out every time.
that they don't need to answer to a simple statement of claim on the grounds that it is simple.
they require it to be complicated enough to take up xxxxxxx amount of the courts time.
the goal isn't timely justice at all. the goal is to unnecessarily confuse things.
the goal is to create confusion. the goal is to create delay and obstruction. the goal is to create unnecessary work. the goal is to fill the courts to the brim so that the courts are overflowing with unnecessary work so that there isn't anything left for the timely prosecution of pedophiles.
file a statement of claim. judge says to refile it. refile the statement of claim. judge says to refile it. you need to work under the instructin of the judge.
gee.. it's starting to look like writing a thesis for a supervisor in new zealand.

they write it up in the new zealand medical journal. how they are required to give cervical examinations to women when they are instructed to by senior medical officers. the students, i mean. sort of 'i need to observe you performing this procedure for you to complete this rotation'. they save the rotation until one of the very last rotations... near the end of the 5th year. sort of 'you have to do this or you won't proceed to your 6th year' sort of an ultimatum.
so there is pressure for the studnet to comply with the medical officer telling them to perform a cervical examination. on a women who is anesthetised on the table for something unrelated. or maybe she's in the process of having a cesarian. or something like that.
so she hasn't consented to been given a cervical examiantion by a studnet. or by more than one student. or by a room full of studnets.
and so the studnets perform the examinations. adn they get signed off.
and apparently in tehir ethics class they are asked to write sort of journal entries about how they felt about giving cervical examiantions to women who hadn't consented to the procedure.
and so over the years they collect these journal entries. and i suppose that that ethics class is also something they are graded on. expected to write.. whatever they are told to write fro that one too, no doubt.
to sort of train them up in the appropriate attitude, i suppose.
they are supposed to be all like...
'oh well in this rotation we did this and we all did that together and that was what we were told to do. and we didn't know that it was wrong. and tehn in our ethics class they told us that the women might not like that. and we never thought of that. but now we feel sad.'
and that's how they teach them ethics. year after year after year after year. and how they teach them to do what they are told. year after year after year. with the cervical exams.

so many other ways of doing it.actually paying prostitutes to be informed consenting model patients.
that would be one option. if people would agree to be model patients.
perhaps even donating to do cervical examinations and std checks for free for people from the prostitutes collective or something like that. if people would consent to a free health check from a student (where the samples are sent to the lab)...
so many ways you would think of where it could be done responsibly...

but they intentionally choose to do things poorly, seems to me.
then they insist there is no alternative and force things to stay teh way they've always been.

they are not responsible for the things they have done because there was no alterantive.
they lack the capacity to conceive of any other option therefore there was no other option there was no alternative it is their way or the highway they are not interested in developing at all.

and the interview stations are a joke, really... because they just want the youngest widest eyed kids they can get.
and in the ethics station... i think the idea, there, is that they want you to initially start out with the 'unthinking' position. i will call it.
so...
start out saying that you don't see anything wrong with x.
then the interviewer gives you some information about another perspective. particularly one involving taking anothers point of view. a point of view that is not your own. aspects of anothers persepective.
and then you are supposed to go 'ohhhh. i didn't think of that. i didn't think of things that way. well now i change my mind on the basis of new information that you gave me that was not obvious to me. you have taught me something new. i can learn from you. i can make you feel needed and useful.'
thats the test. i think. the ethics station.
that you display the relevant features of the template they want from you.
the template where you look out for your interests because you are number 1.
then when you are called out a bit by someone raising others interests you sort of say 'i never thought of that. now i think of that. sorry'.
i'm trying to understand why i didn't get top marks in the ethics station. i think the problem was i anticipated her end. i mean to say i started where she wanted things to end up only after her instruction.
and things are not allowed to develop. so...

i think (but i'm not sure) that she was the same person who spoke to everyone first day out at Tamaki.
she raised this thing with the entire class about who should have first access to vaccinations...
this idea that as healthcare professionals you have the first access to all of the health things. basically. you can take from what you can opportunistically get your grubby hands on. obviously. vaccinations. kidneys. you get the idea.
it was about whether it was justifyiable to do that.
but really...
what she seemed to be trying ot do...
was to create desire...
she seemed to be informing people that as healthcare professionals one would be in the position to do all that. to take whatever for oneself and / or ones loved ones first.
to see the little eyes light up.
