i can't take this sometimes.
i say this because i feel like i absolutely need to. it sums it all up. i am just in such a bad place. maybe i should get a therapist and stop whining here. i can't take this place sometimes.

It is not helping anyone for me to keep saying how miserable i am...i think i may have just discovered a mental tactic to help myself! i am going to explore it and see if i can figure out a way out of this depression for a while. i'll come out of it sooner or later. i always do.:-)

It is a valuable and rejuvenating form of "time out". And, totally voluntary. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindfulness
Also, you might consider BearHugitation®.

Hey alesta,
I think it's ok to whine if you want to. We all need to be heard sometimes. ((((alesta))))

Just typing it out is mindfulness, explicit and simple.
The trick is to not get caught up in the secondary experience, not judging yourself for having had the primary emotions and thoughts themselves. To accept yourself as you are is mindfulness, too.
