NO, you didn't blow it you just overindulged, so don't do it tomorrow but call it the first day of your diet anyway, just it didn't go perfectly, that's all.

Okay you two, knock it off. I for one, refuse absolutely to go on a diet. I'm eating a Sweet Georgia Brown made with excellent milke chocolate and salted pecans, right now. ALso, a lovely layer of soft and chewy caramel. But it's the salt on the pecans that make them really special, with all that chocolate and gooey caramelly goodness. I'm gaining weight. Getting chubby. I don't even care, I used to really care, my skinniness was a flag. It said, I don't care about myself, look at me, I don't even eat, I don't care to eat .. kind of the opposite of a lot of overweight people I guess. Now I like the couple of extra pounds of luscious .. fat.

I promised that if I would get out of anxiety I would never worry about about a diet.
Ok. I am a salt person. How about Cheese dip with doritoes or fried shrimp with a stuffed baked potato. The potato is filled with cheese, butter and sour cream.
Ok. I will eat the cake too. lol

That is a really cool attitude about it! I actually don't believe in 'diets' but there is a good reason for my secret snort. I may eat that cake w/ some pickles.(smile)

And Lynn,
I am beginning not really a diet, but a whole new way of life (yeah- that's the politically correct way to say it).
I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired.
My goal is to have: either Yogurt with flaxseeds or oatmeal for breakfast with a 1/2 cup of coffee (no more sugar in it).
Lunch: protein shakes with added blueberries.
Snacks: Stringed cheese or organic almonds.
Dinner: either grilled/broiled/boiled chicken or red meat with some sort of veggies and brown rice..
I will occasionally probably buy the Lean cuisine things for dinner- maybe some homemade spaghetti sauce over whole weat noodles..
I am already hungry... and I haven't started this yet. LOL
I don't desire to lose weight- but hubby really needs to (he's gained 75 pounds since we married thanks to my southern cookin').. BUT I do desire to be healthier.
I am working on it.
I spent $100 at GNC buying all sorts of supplements.
I also finally got that Fleet Enema Larry told me about... let's just say that I rang in the New Year on the white throne..
New York City ain't the only place that was droppin' things last night. LOL

Is there a BABY on the way????
BTW dear fondly Phillipa,
I've been meaning to tell you my best friend for several years growing up was a Philippa, only her name was spelled this way. Her family was English and very strict JW, but beautiful, wonderful people. I think of her often, very often, and wonder where she is and what she's doing. So somewhere I have a special place in my heart because you remind me of her by sharing her name.. btw, "fondly, Phillipa" always makes me picture the heath, for some reason .. heath I've never seen, but will some day, I know it in my heart ...

Well you know I could be spelling it wrong. I got it from an English novel. Fondly Phillipa or Philippa?
