I sound so supportive and I'm really a wimp at life. yuck. Yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck. Everything I wrote today sounds sickening. I hope you guys all understand that I want the best for you all though, I really do. Whatever that "best" is .. do any of us really know?

I frequently make myself sick, on a regular basis. In fact it is in large part why you don't know me, which is because I haven't posted in a long time, because I've been making myself sick. But you should know that you don't make me, or I woud suspect anyone else sick, so take some comfort there.
Also and off the subject, what is babble-mail? I see no option to read or find out about it.

Don't be so hard on yourself Susan. Nothing you wrote sounds sickening. I thought it was, ummm ... what was the word you used to describe me? ELOQUENT!!!

I know what you mean - sometimes I wish there was a "retract that last post" button... but I think it's hard to say the wrong thing here at Babble. In the end, we are people reaching out to each other, and that's what you're able to do so well. Sabrina is right, BTW. You express yourself beautifully. I have a tendency to use too many exclamation points!

Babble mail is a way to send email, yet keep your true identity to yourself.
If you send someone a babblemail, it goes through Dr. Bob's database to find the correct mail and then gets forwarded to the other poster. All identifying information is stripped off.
When you get one, it is an email from babble with a subject something like 'babblemail from <poster>.' The reply button won't work, you have to use babblemail to answer. At which point you can trade real email addrs if you want to.
It only works if the recipiant (and I think the sender) have in their profiles that they will allow babblemail (can I shorten this to bm. lots of typing)
It's a great system. A bit about it is in the FAQ. The form is at http://www.dr-bob.org/cgi-bin/pb/babblemail.pl

Good link Auntie ...
Babblemail is a great way to be open to sharing more privately with others; there's also an FAQ box at the bottom of Auntie's link as well, click on it for more info, then register from that page. I think I have that right. It's really easy and very rewarding if you take the minute to do it. And thanks for helping me feel less of a fool today. BTW, a gorgeous younger man called me "Beautiful" today. Ew ew ew. Made my morning. I lucked out.

Karalynne, don't apologize for using "my" thread. Threads change frequently and that's quite all right, it's more interesting this way in any case!
