Hmmm, decided for the fun of it to get the "true" definition from the dictionary, brought a grin to my face.

"ka-zoo (noun) A toy instrument, an open tube with a top hole fitted with a membrane that vibrates when one hums into the tube."

So you say this kazoo has lost his pussy. Could it be possible that the cat isn't lost just hiding? Perhaps pussy doesn't like the sounds kazoo makes when he vibrates?

We must remember that we only see what the other wants to show us over the internet, though sometimes we may get uncensored glimpses.

"will-o'-the-wisp (noun) anything that deludes or misleads by luring on"

Whistling Willow

ps "dream (noun) (1) a series of thoughts or images passing through the mind in sleep (2) a cherished or vain hope

That may be even too personal of a question for the cyber world?

Sar

You get to choose between two:

SARI (noun) a long piece of silk, the principal outer garment of Hindu women, worn around the body with one end draped over the head or over one shoulder

SARK (noun) any long, shirtlike garment worn next to the skin, as a chemise, nightshirt, or the like

Which do you fit? I know someone that imagines you as a sark and I'm not telling who. : )

Now this one is for the girls. How many can imagine their lives having never played a kazoo? What would it be like? I guess it would go on but the music wouldn't be the same, perhaps a little flat.

Will-o-wisp

ps to my special friend, turn all news off (unless it is Canadian,) go buy yourself two new decks of cards, ones with Rockwell pictures

there was an article about your city in my local paper, the author claimed that the people had become more personable, is this true?

heeeyyyyyy! ouch! (arrow slices through heart) i'm afraid i'll have to accept being referred to as 'nutty.' it's all too true...! (sniff, sniff)

you KNOW i love you, and if you are a sark, that's something worn close to the skin, so that's nice!

lessee... SNARK - (for all you unliterary peoples): an imaginary animal created by Lewis Carroll in his poem, 'The Hunting of the Snark.' have we got a picture to refer to, perhaps online? i'll have to do a search, now...

love and a giant Snark-like hug,

well, here's the followup. you can see the frontispiece of the publisher Methuen's version, if you look up on Google.com (try 'lewis carroll' + 'snark') IMAGES.

Here's a description of the work:

Epic nonsense poem, in which an unlikely crew sets off in search of an improbable beast. The original poem, sub-titled "An Agony in Eight Fits", was written in 1874. In 1897, one year before his death, Carrol wrote, "in answer to your question, 'What did you mean the Snark was?', will you tell your friend that I meant that the Snark was a Boojum. I trust that she and you will now feel quite satisfied and happy. To the best of my recollection, I had no other meaning in my mind when I wrote it; but people have since tried to find the meanings in it. The one I like best (which I think is partly my own) is that may taken as an allegory for the pursuit of happiness."

ah, but you don't know yet! you don't know that i mean "nut" and "nutty" and "nuttiness" in completely affectionate terms; i don't really jive with non-nuts, and i've come to embrace my own nut-reality.

once or twice, though, i was referred to as a "kook" and that kinda pissed me off.."kook" seems like more of a *slur*... :)

> you KNOW i love you, and if you are a sark, that's something worn close to the skin, so that's nice!

yass yass, i'll be a sark, a sari-sark, i'll drape right 'round yous, keep ya warm....

i skimmed the poem after i did a search on it and couldn't decide whether "snark" is good or bad. i still can't read very much right now, esp poetry, which is especially taxing to the brain.

oh, wendy--i tried to e-mail you at yr yahoo account today and got a failure notice. did you cancel? anyway, notice my name *in blue*...and e-mail me if you'd like. i was promised a story about your journey into hell.

Dear Wendy,

I am so honored that you took the time to find all this about the snark...and to look ahead to sar's post, I think Lewis often wrote ambivilant prose and poetry...

Tonight is a blue moon, you know, 'once in a blue moon' meaning two full moons in one month, so if you all have been particularly mercurical, blame the blue moon. Oh, and i just found out the reason it is called blue is that in the 1940's the farmers almanic showing the stages of the moon would color this second moon blue.

night all, I am scaring away the trick or treaters. The last time i handed anything out it was pennies...the little kids thought it was great (got to put them in a flat pan, makes them harder for little hands to grab) the older kids, said, 'stupid, pennies, who wants pennies' and i spent less...twenty dollars of pennies is a lot of pennies...

now I just turn out the lights and don't answer the door.
