(((Phillippa))): I am so sorry. We need to cry in order to heal (I haven't been able to cry in over 3 years).....
I read (and it makes sense); that different kinds of tears have different chemicals...tears of pain and sadness contain a chemical component that is literally healing.
Does a sad movie or music make you cry? Sometimes the pain is just too deep for tears.
What is your sadness?
Love and hugs, Sassy

Phillipa,
It sounds like you have a lot going on. To me, it almost seems like you are overwhelmed with emotions. So much so, that you don't even know which feelings to feel first. Do you journal? It may give you an outlet to vent all your feelings.Make sure you take time for yourself. Do something for yourself. Please take *good* care of yourself.
Hugs and love to you,
Jay.

I feel so sad for you Phillipa! You are always here for everyone on Babble, wish there was more we could do to put you in a happier place. You know, sometimes sideways works a lot better than head on. Sassy had a good idea about going to see a sad movie. Make sure the lead character is someone you can empathize and identify with and that they feel sad so you can cry for them. Sometimes when we cry for someone else, it's really for ourselves.
Love you, Lucie

To all I can't cry or grieve no one cares in real life about me it's obvious when you constantly e-mail your kids and no responses. And if I make a mistake in posting e-bay get yelled at and daily told no. I charge for everyone but me. Can you believe I have no warmer clothes that fit? And the corker is that I'm afriad of trying on clothes reminds of my age. I fear death and don't want to die. And each day I feel worse. I force myself to go places can't sit still, can't watch TV gotta get away. And When I was seein the therapist all she kept saying was why are you afraid of being alone. If I knew I would tell. But used to be able to cry. Since the time my husband said if I knew you'd get sick would have never married you and my job is not to entertain you. He will say leave the house so leave for about four hours and he wants more. So I'm dead already. Emotionless. And it's not meds. Love Phillipa

Philippa,
I'm really concerned about you. You sound very depressed and I really think you ought to see someone. I know the T you like isn't available but how about a pdoc at least?
Worried.

Phillipa,
I don't post or reply very often, but I've read many of your old and new posts, and I've come to care about you.
We've never met and communication through a computer is limited, but I've come to like you, and enjoy reading what you have to say. You seem like such a sweet and giving person. I can always count on seeing "Love, Phillipa" next to posts and replies, and find it very comforting. I bet there are many people here who feel the same way.
I know it's painful when life feels empty and you feel alone, but I care about how you feel. I'm sorry you're going through so much sadness. Are you able to see a T?
Please keep posting,Phillipa.

I care about you too! You and I have some things in common as you know. Please know that you do have many good years ahead and that things may seem bleak now but that you can change them! Can you see your old Pdoc who you liked? I really hope you can see a therapist who will help you. I'm praying for you (hope that is not offensive).
Love,
Abby

To late to undo the past and it's too late to work again as seriously can't. Also should never married a younger guy. I wanted to retire one day never will. And the yelling . And my fears? Never had them before. Abby write when you can? No can't see the old pdoc as she's not changing a thing and the therapist thing didn't work out. I'm in it on my own. Love Phillipa

Phillipa,
I find the T asking you why are you afraid of being alone is a question I find unsettling; I think that it is a human condition whereby the majority of people don't want to be alone. Many women I find stay in marriages they are unhappy in due to the fear of being alone. I don't believe that is an unwarranted fear. Nor an unexceptional one either. Maybe she just wanted you to articulate it. If not, she is a dummy. Most people are not loners, and only loners are happy being alone. If people did not mind being alone, why would so many bars have so many people out there trying to hook up with someone. Maybe you should call her back and say I am afraid of being alone because I am human. that is it, no more. Humans are designed to want the company of others. Most want to socialize. Again, those that don't are more not the norm versus the norm. So I find her question again puzzling.
I am sad you are unhappy. I understand your pain though. Too bad there isn't a happy pill. I would dispense it freely if there was!!!
take care, and try to do something today just for you to cheer yourself up.
rsk

I can imagine you don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, but do your best to take care of yourself. Just do little things for yourself here and there. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you =)

Good morning, PJ.
These are just some random thoughts, for myself as much as anyone else.
Crying is one of those interesting things (like laughing) we do that are hard to describe.
Crying will always hurt, but there are way more painful states than crying.
It's a sort of melting with pain kind of thing, maybe a sort of letting go, maybe therefore a particularly useful way of being for people whose will is overdeveloped, as it is for so many of us.
I wonder if by crying whether one feels as if the world still contains goodness and beautiful things, in spite of the pain?
Then of course there are drugs (like benzos) that may not help.

PJ, everything ends badly, but not as badly as if it didn't end.
Everyone f*cks up. All life is a wreckage. The best we can do is be kind to each other on the way.
That's what I believe anyway.Too late? Of course. For me too.
Still if, as they say, the only time there ever is is now, what then?
(I thought I knew the answer)
Time for another cup of tea.
Love
Sig

Racer even if it is no pill will fix it as it's situational and I no longer have the stamina I had before. So I'm struck frozen whatever for how ever long it will be. Each day gets more difficult to get through only so much money you can charge and physical pain back, headaches add to the feelings and are scarey. Thanks for answering Phillipa
