no fathers support!

I have been thru alot in the last 3 years, a divorce a remarriage (I am so much happier in this marriage) the lost of physical custody of my 3 kids, 5 moves and I lost my father-not to death mind you but I call his home, he says hello I say hey he hangs up on me!!!! he works w/ my EX!still and things just suck-he is the only 'family' i have. so its just my husband and me treading thru life together and my kids every other weekend IF i stay in the same state as they live now. Just wanna pick up and GO at times-sell everything and GO!

I wasn't sure if I could contribute here or not. My first husband's family was like this: picking sides, refusing to talk, basically hurting repeatedly. Some families have a generational history of this behavior. What I saw and experienced was how destructive this transferred hatred can be - and how I finally cut my losses; not with equally hurtful words, but by saying goodbye, and going on.
