hey sorry to interupt,
anxious babe,
try giving up dairy (or most dairy), you can
replace some of it with soy stuff. Anyways,
try that for a couple weeks if you can and see
if it helps. it helped me a lot.
just a suggestion.
also if you can drink more water sometimes it
helps feel full so you eat less.
goodluck and take care,
me

Lexy you are so right. We are all here for each other whether it's good or bad. I know that I have had a real hard time and when I do post you all make me feel that I am not alone in this. I know that we are all going to get through this. God has truly blessed us with each other and I thank him everyday. I truly would not have made it as far as I am on lex without all of you. You have gave me the strength to stick with it. THANK YOU ALL!!1 God bless each and everyone of you and remember you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love to all, Ali

i dont understand why you are the only one that is dragging this whole thing out. everyone has said what they needed to say and that should be that. i let you "take your meds" comment slide. friendships are more important than that. after seeing this side of you i would request that you dont post to me ever again. i have made truce with everyone i feel the need and WANT to. i hope you can find happiness in your heart and move on to a more positive attitude, i wish you the best.

Hey, good to hear that your day was okay. I'm so proud of you for what you said to Trucker about letting things go. That's the way to be girl! We all say and do some things that we are not always proud of but we have to own up to it and move on. Love ya as always, Mrs. C

Hey where is everyone? are you guys on strike or something? There are still some people here who need support and advice.
come on girls let's keep up the good work.
At least check in and let us know how you are doing. I will start with me. I am on 5mg of lex since March and doing good as far as anxiety is concerned and that is obviously why I take it because I suffer from anxiety attacks, but the lex has cured that.
The only side effect I suffer from is weight gain 13 pounds and the feeling of laziness especially in the morning when it's time to wake up and in the late afternoon.
So tell me about you??????

Whew,
Wow, I miss a few days of reading posts and everything blows up.
Everyone here is special and eveyone has some different to bring to the group to help each other. I think we should all make a pact to try to help each other as much as it is possible that is comfortable to each person.Anyway, my story goes like this....I have been depressed for most of my life, but nothing was ever done about it. Last October I decided to "do something about it" and my doctor put me on Lexapro. Now after a year of being on the med and MANY good and bad things going on in my life I am a completely new and improved person. I am happier and stronger than I have EVER been before. I want to thank everyone that when I was in a bad place last December helped me out and just reading posts dailey has helped me feel good. This group is a very caring group and I hope that everyone can get back to being friends and work on what everyone wants...to be happy in our lives.
I pray for everyones happiness!!!

Wow,
I never really thought about it, but I suffered from extreme sleepiness in the morning and late afternoon with lexapro. I have just switched directly back to 30 mgs celexa form 20mgs lex--day three--and have noticed a bit of a difference. I have also had a bad headache, a little dizziness, and some anxious feelings. But I'll keep everyone posted on the sse's and weight issues. Wouldn't the manufacturers freak if we all abandoned their new formulation, lex, for the old celexa?Take care all,
Edna

I have been on it for 7 months...and I know this is really bad, but I forget to take it, A LOT. My doc suggested back in May I go up to 20mg, but I never did. I just split the pills.. Maybe since I am forgetting I dont need it... I did really well on paxil, emotionally, but I BLEW UP. I went from 145 to 205 in 5 months!!!NO KIDDING!!! I got back down to 170 and now am back up in the 80's...I must admit, I know it is because I dont go to the gym since i got married. Iused to go atleast 4 xs a week and now, nothingness!!

Hi Anakin,
Did you find that when you were going to the gym 4 times a week that the weight came off from the meds.
I just joined the gym, but I am afraid that even with working out the weight is still not going to come off. What did you do to go from 205 to 170. Please share.
