Here's the situation for me: I'm in my early 20s, and I still need to finish up school (bout 2 years left, possibly less). I can stay here, in the town I grew up in, came back to, and went crazy in (and its a small town, so believe when I say that A LOT of people know about the crazy part).
Or I can go back to the city where I first went for undergrad, take out some loans, and get on with it. I'm inclined to get out of town--I've been here, in the town I grew up in (and returned to) doing classes at tech schools and what not, and I'm ready to finish up my degree.
But then, I feel like I'm running from my problems. But then..I think: sometimes, the place where you live can cause you problems, or make your problems worse, so why not "cut and run" ?
If I move, I won't know anyone when I get there; socially, I'll have to start over, which is both good (no one will know me, I can meet knew people) and bad (I'll have to leave behind the few close friends I do have).
Plus, I'm thinking about changing my major. Call me crazy, but with all the pointless medication knowledge I've accumulated over the years, I kind of want to try my hand at pre-med and see if I can't become a doctor.
HELP--What do you all think?
