Sorry, being dim again, but what are you trying to get into? Ed? That sounds rude!! LOL, Ed is a boys name here. Anyway, I don't know. We don't have to pay for applications here (pay to apply somewhere!? You're doing them a favour, not the other way round!) Anyway that aside, which isn't very helpful, its alot of money.
It all depends on how you feel. If you only apply to the place you're in at the mo, and you don't get in, would you be comfortable taking a year out and applying again? What would you do with that time? Could you get sort of work related to what you want to do, and so strengthen your application? IMHO years out are good (although not too many!).
If the prospect of having a year out freaks you out, then I'd suggest you pay the $100 thing.
