Li - and Gee -
Such awesome advice and encouragement from Li.
No one could possibly understand you as much
as we do. In undergrad, I failed (that means "F'd) 2 courses - the "F" is the grade.
I think it was 3 courses. After one semester off,
and 1.5 extra years in college, I received my BS in Bio and Chem.
It was so long ago. Just think, now I am up for candidacy in a PhD program. You CAN do it - no matter what the outcome
of this class is.
And whenever you feel this way,
just reach out.
I am sure many of us share your experiences and
your feelings about them.
Keep working hard and don't stop believing in your abilities.
Grades create more anxiety than
they are really worth. -J
Gee, please don't be so hard on yourself. It's okay to feel badly for a few days, but keep trying your hardest. Get extra help. Show them that you care. It hurts SO bad to fail. But it feels so good to get a C on your homework and know that it's better than the D 2 weeks ago. Sometimes you have to start at the bottom to make progress. Maybe you have to take this class twice, but you CAN do it. I know you can.
