you impress me!
I think you're smart to only take 2 courses. Organic Chemistry is a lot of material to learn. I hope you find it fun. I liked it more than general chemistry. The lab work was often quite smelly though.
We did one lab synthesizing Amyl Acetate. It's the synthetic flavoring used for "banana". The whole building smelled like some candy barf for a week. Ugh. that smell is still repulsive to me. My clothes STANK of if until I did laundry!
