okay. some universities have their lecture notes freely available online so that would probably be what you are wanting. i know mit does this with all their lecture notes - but i don't know that they do very much social / abnormal psychology over there...
another possibility would be wikipedia or something like that. if they are important figures then there might be a fairly detailed blurb on them. if the articles you are looking at are some of their better known ones you may be able to find a summary of the article.
what i would do is google the person and possibly the name of the article and have a look.
other than that...
babblemail me the person and name of the articles if you like and i'll have a bit of a look sometime today.
