I'm currently procrastinating my dissertation. I can't let it go much longer, because it's what's holding me up from finishing my degree. I agree a support group would be great. I remember early in my grad school career, I said to a student a year ahead of me "Do you ever think you weren't meant to do this, that you should just pack it in now?" And she said "every day, gg, every day!"

Why don't more people tell you this? I thought I was the only one having doubts and anxiety.

You are not alone in this, tkmphd. And I know studying for quals is hard. It was a great relief when I finished mine. Good luck on yours.
