so the delightful (joke) kim sterelny is being his usual bully self.
so i wrote to the vice chancellor.
i have pointed out the work that i did in the first year of my 3 year Phd.
i have pointed out the work that i did in the second year of my 3 year Phd.
i have pointed out that the university then gave me funded scholarship to go to UNC Chapel Hill for 1 academic year.
i have pointed out that on my return i gave my supervisor a 100,000+ word thesis draft.
none of it was forwarded to externals.
i don't think we had a single scheduled supervision meeting.
i don't know that he recorded my progress was alright before i went to north carolina.
i remember him bullying me about not being allowed to do my mid-term once i came back from north carolina, even.
i then had 3 documents that i sent him after i'd moved back to nz that he never got to externals.
i'd love to see the work that the other studnets did in tehir first year and in tehir second year.
the studnets who are there, at ANU, now, presently employed by them, having been graduated from their PhD.
the studnets who were graduated and went on to jobs in australia and overseas.
i'd love for people to cmopare the state of our work after 1 year of enrolment.
after 2 years of enrolment.
that's about when it's ready to go to externals -- right?
for up to 1 year of examination?

he really is soooooooo eloquent in much of his ACADEMIC writing.
but in person, not so much.
it's like... it's like.. it's relaly really like.. it's not the same person, at all...
