They got me working on my 1 year research masters for 2 years. Just encouraging me to take more time and take more time and take more time...
Then...
They should have sent it out for a PhD. Else they should have asked me or encouraged me to switch into the PhD programme and submit it for PhD.
Because the quality was up there and it just would have been more padding.
But they didn't. Why not?
Well, instead they just kept on about how the present generation would have to die before I got a job and there wouldn't be a job for me and there wasn't going to be a job and there wasn't going to be any money. Not for me.
So I tried to get into PhD programmes overseas. Because NZ won't progress me or employ me. Right? I mean they got my mother living on welfare her whole entire life. Got her dropping out of a nursing programme... Then she worked for a while as a cleaner. Right? So that is my lot in life too, then. Right? They are never going to pay me.
So then I do get in to study PhD in Australia... And it's embarrassing, from the get go. I'm giving talks based on work I did before I arrived and visiting professors are encouraging me to apply for jobs they have going shortly in tehir departments and post-doctoral fellowships and the like...
Then they hear that I've only just started on my PhD.
SO the ANU doesnt' let me give my 6 monthly progress review until... Well... Did they ever acknowledget hat I even gave my 6 month progress review at all?
I don't think they did...
They didn't acknowledge any of the workt hat I did...
So I'm left to do it... ANd it becomes bloated... Because it's not being incrementally recognised or progressed.... It's this mammoth...
And it's just a f*ck*ng embarrassment to them that I wasn't signed off on already.
So...
Well.. Get rid of me.
Inheritance skips a geneartion. Right? People hoard the wealth and their children get nothing and they leave it to their grandkids. Right?
That's what goes on in academic contexts etc now.
The same old people collecting up all the f*ck*ng money to say the same old thing for the milionth f*ck*ng time and nobody else has any f*ck*ng speaking rights.
Well most certainly not me.
Because I"m just the free lawyer who slaves for the courts for free because I am forced to slave for my freedom while earning less than minimum wage.
That would be a good job they don't pay me for.
