i imagine what will happen is that asylum seekers will be processed not by new zealand and then the ones who have been identified as likely security threats will be shipped to new zealand.
i think that is the idea/l of it.

new zealand sent a very slow ship. a very slow ship. how slow can the ship go? we needed to send a ship becuase international obligations etc. but we must demonstrate our reluctance. sigh. by dragging our heels dragging our heels. being as obstructive as we can...
so the refugees are processed by australia first and nz is sent a bunch who were allocated by australia.
they send us the ones they deem security risks to australia. they send them to new zealand.
because new zealand is the place where you send all the violent sexual offenders and murderers of the world etc.
because that's what the government rewards and chooses to value etc.
if they have money and they can pay they can pay they can pay they can pay then we can pass them off as doctors and teachers and caregivers and so on. any and all of the government paid health 'professions'. if they can get an army to pay the university to opay the university to pay the university to pay...
then they will be most valued of all.
it's our vision for the most efficient of the final solutions of all.
